Alabama soccer players are marketing themselves in the NFL
Alabama football players are among the best in the NFL, and that translates to our NFL player sales list. This is a list of the NFL players who have sold the most merchandise over the past year. Revenue comes mostly from jersey sales, but other licensed merchandise also adds to the number.
For this reason, it makes sense that up-and-coming players and players on new teams would be high on the roster. After all, established players have been pushing fans to buy their jerseys for years, but the rookies just learned where to play.
Here are the Alabama soccer players in the NFL Top 50 in merchandise sales.
5. McJones, New England Patriots
Jones has been the highest-earning rookie this year, and it’s easy to see why. Tasked with being the future of the New England Patriots, he won the primary task before the start of the season. Jones proved he could lead an NFL team, leading fans to buy his jersey.
21. Derek Henry, Tennessee Titans
In his last healthy season, Henry ran for more than 2,000 yards. He’s easily the face of the Tennessee Titans, and his jersey is one of the cleanest in the NFL. With so many Alabama football fans drawn to the Titans, it makes sense that Henry would be at the top of the list. If he’s enjoying a healthy 2022-23 season, he’ll be back near the top.
22. Nagy Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers
Harris was the fourth rookie on the list. He’s been a force in Pittsburgh’s offensive, and his career has kept shining. We’ll see if he can continue into the sophomore season.
25. Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas Raiders
The raiders’ shirts are always clean, and Jacobs is one of the best players in this attack. Unfortunately, he will likely see his sales plummet after the team rejected his option for next season. This indicates that his time in Las Vegas is limited, but that he will easily find a new home.
35. Galen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Galen changed his shirt number, and was officially the starter for the entire season. Both of those things boosted his T-shirt sales, and Hurts is no doubt handy.
36. Defonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
Right behind Hurts is his teammate. Smitty has gone from winning the Heisman Cup to picking up passes at Philly, and he did a great job last season.
39. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
Tua won a starting quarterback job, and he could see an increase in jersey sales if he proves himself this year. The dolphins are on the rise, and Tua is preparing to take a big step forward in a new offensive.
47. Amary Cooper, Dallas Cowboys
Cooper saw a cowboy bump in his T-shirt sales. Dallas players are more likely to see their jerseys sold. Now that he’s played with the Cleveland Browns, it will be interesting to see if sales of his merchandise go up next year.
Expect to see players like Jameson Williams, Jaylene Waddell, and possibly Julio Jones on this list next year.
