Lakers AA beat Peterroot Red Sox


Gage Brink had triples and four RBIs and Elijah Owens and Grady Drish had three RBIs each while the Kalispell Lakers edged Bitterroot Red Sox 14-8 in a Legion baseball game on Sunday.

Kalispel got off the bat early on, scoring nine first-half runs and going 13-2 up after four runs. The Red Sox did quite a bit, scoring four runs in the fifth inning.

The Lakers did quick work with the Red Sox in Game One on Sunday as well, winning 12-2 in a game cut short by Law of Mercy.

Austin Brennan was 2 vs. 2 in that game with the RBI and Jackson Nelson had a triple and three RBI.

The Lakers scored 10 games in the first half of it.

Oscar Kallis was 2-on-3 with a double and 2 RBI as the Kalispell Lakers A defeated Havre Northstars 18U 8-5 in Game Two on Sunday. The win split the Lakers on the day Haver hit the first inning, 12-4.

Timmy Glanville contributed a double and the RBI Lakers into Game Two. The first offensive line-up was Joey Thatcher, 2 vs 4, Bryan Herrion, 2 vs 3 and Caden Drich with a double and two RBIs.

Libby – Bandit Cranbrook scored six runs at the top of the seventh inning on Sunday when they defeated Libby Lugers, 7-2.

The match was close when Cranbrook’s Vinnie Fiorentino hit the first court of his racket. That put it one way back home and the thieves got off there.

Lippi tried to come back, scoring one game in the seventh half, but he wasn’t.

Tripp Zhang, Aydan Williamson, and Dylan Buckner all had multiple scores for Libby.
