Miles Kitzelman, 2022 juco TE class, commits to playing football in Alabama

Alabama football made a late spring addition to its 2022 class. Myles Kitzelman of Hutchinson Community College in Kansas has confirmed his commitment to the Crimson Tide and will score in June, Hutchinson coach Drew Dallas confirmed to Tuscaloosa News.

Kitselman, 6-foot-6, 250 pounds, is Alabama’s fourth tight-knit commitment, joining early associates Elijah Brown, Amari Niblak and Danny Lewis. Increase the class size to 26.

Kitselman said Alabama and Tennessee were on the Hutchinson campuses last week to see teammate and all-American college-wide receiver Malik Benson, a 2023 nominee and Alabama’s top 11 team.

Louisiana was the only school that introduced Kitselman before Alabama, Kitselman said.

“Bama didn’t even know who I was,” Kitzelman told Tuscaloosa News. “I was working with wide receivers in pre-training, and then all of a sudden they were like, ‘Hey, who’s that 87?’ Is it a great wide receiver or does it work well with wide receivers? “
