What prospects have received invitations?

With the NBA preliminary draft process in full swing, reports began surfacing about these potential clients receiving invitations to compete on the group.

The gathering will run May 16-22 in Chicago, Illinois, and will feature executives and scouts from all 30 teams. Each year teams send out a list of players they would like to see invited, usually those with higher odds of getting drafted.

Sixty-nine players were invited to compete in the pool last year.

The event will include 5 to 5 games, testing of strength and agility, shooting drills, scaling, and other related exercises on the field. Prospects will have the opportunity to improve their stock in a competitive environment against their peers.

An elite NBA G League camp will also take place in Chicago from May 16-17, with players competing against NBA and G League scouts, coaches and front-office executives. Top performers will also be invited to perform in the draft group.

The official list of participants in both events has not yet been revealed.

Those lower-tier students who have applied as early entry candidates will also have the opportunity to interview teams and get feedback on their introductory status. The information will be useful in shaping their decisions about staying in the draft or returning to school before the June 1 deadline.

Rookie Wire took a look at those prospects who have reportedly received invitations to compete in the combined G League Elite Camp. The list will be updated as more names appear.
