Skip Bayless took a tough take on Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers’ confrontational attitudes over the past 18 months have led to positive or negative responses from most of the NFL community on one issue or another. An NFL analyst summed up his view of the quarterback with succinctness and brutality.

talking on undisputed, host Skip Bayless chose greatness with the quarterback, calling him a big personality who transcends responsibility. Bellis said:

“I’ll give you this. He hates losing to San Francisco more than he hates losing to any other team including those in his league. I still think he likes holding on to Team America more than he likes holding on to any other team because he’s top. He’s an exhibition runner. He’s an indicator finger”.

It is not Ryan Tanehill’s job to direct Willis’ owner. It wasn’t Joe Flacco’s job to direct Lamar Jackson. Tom Brady undercut Jimmy J. Please ask Aaron Rodgers how much he supports Brett Farfree

Bayless is one of the most popular Cowboys fans. The Cowboys and Packers have been major rivals in recent years, which gave the show’s host impetus to call out Aaron Rodgers. However, both have involved a coach in recent years. Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy has coached Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott for several seasons.

McCarthy and Rodgers have a long, rich history in Green Bay. McCarthy arrived as head coach in 2006, coaching Brett Favre for two seasons before Rodgers took the lead. According to Pro Football Reference, the duo got together in 2008, when the number 12 officially took over as Favre.

From 2009 to 2016, the Packers dominated the NFC North and won the Super Bowl and made the playoffs every year. However, a narrative began to form beneath the surface that the quarterback was effectively carrying the team thanks to a lack of roster and training errors by McCarthy in late game situations.

In 2017 and 2018, the midfielder suffered injuries in back-to-back seasons, leaving the team without the primary midfielder for an extended period of time. The team failed to make the playoffs in both seasons and finished under 0.500. After the second time this happened, the coach was abandoned.

It took 2019 before he reappeared with the Dallas Cowboys. McCarthy, the Super Bowl-winning coach, was finally tasked with helping the team in January. Instead, the team struggled to advance deep in January in the same way after a season lost through a season-ending injury to quarterback Dak Prescott in 2020 and faltered early in the playoffs in 2021.

With rumors swirling about the possibility of Sean Payton joining the squad earlier this year, some believe the head coach is now finding himself in lame duck season.
