We simulated Tottenham vs Arsenal to get a prediction for the outcome of the mega north London derby

Arsenal could confirm their place in the Champions League next season by beating Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Thursday night.

Arsenal and Tottenham remain in a tight battle between the top four as the end of the 2021/22 Premier League season approaches. But after Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool last weekend, Arsenal opened up a four-point lead after winning 2-1 at Leeds.

An Arsenal win on Thursday would put Arsenal seven points ahead of Tottenham two games ahead, making it impossible for Spurs to beat their rivals. But a Spurs win would close the gap by one point, and keep the race for fourth place alive.

Antonio Conte can name the same squad that scored a point at Anfield last week without new injury concerns. Mikel Arteta has claimed that both Ben White and Bukayo Saka will be assessed before the match.

So, what formations will both managers choose? Who will come out on top in the decisive match for fourth place? lets take alook.

The expected result between Tottenham and Arsenal through simulation

We expect Tottenham to be able to form a 3-4-3 formation as follows: You cry; Rosemary, Der, Davis; Royal Bentancourt, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon; Kulusevsky, Ken, Son.

We expect Arsenal to be able to form a 4-2-3-1 formation as follows: Ramsdale. Cedric, Holdings, Gabriel, Tomiasso; Elneny, Shaka; Sacca, Odegaard, Martinelli; bitmap.

Spurs looked like the more dangerous side from the start, with Arsenal’s five players struggling to contain their offensive threat. The hosts finally took the lead after their positive start, and Pierre-Emile Hogberg scored the first goal.

Pierre-Emile Hojberg made the score 1-0 against Tottenham

A cross from Dejan Kulusevski on the right was met by Hojbjerg, with the Gunners midfield failing to follow his path. Hogberg jumped up to meet the cross and headed for the goal, and despite Ramsdell getting his hand, the goalkeeper could only shoot the ball into the net.

A header was sent to the ‘keeper’s right, and Ramsdale’s rescue attempt was poor. Arsenal continued to struggle, and a few bad goalkeepers from Ramsdale played a role in snatching Spurs for a second time in the match.

Harry Kane found Kulusevsky inside the penalty area, and the striker masterfully pulled the ball away from his marker and created an empty space to send a shot towards goal. Kulusevsky’s effort dug hard towards the near corner, bypassing Ramsdale who chose to attempt the rescue with his feet and into the corner.

Spurs were in control and found joy through Arsenal’s midfield, sending Conte’s side in the first half with two goals. But, just minutes into the second half, Arsenal managed to reduce the goal on the counter-attack to put in an interesting 40 minutes.

Bukayo Saka intercepted a loose pass on the right and sped off the touchline with numbers in support. As he approached the penalty area, Martin Odegaard was found on the interference, and the Norwegian’s cross was directed into the bottom corner by Granit Xhaka, who slipped to the back post without any signals.

Arteta introduced Alexandre Lacazette and Gabriel Martinelli to attempt an equaliser, toppling Mohamed Elneny and Ben White in the process. The Gunners moved forward more as the match continued, and Tottenham took the opportunity to score a third goal on the counter minutes before the end of the match.
