“Joel Embiid mocked Enes Kanter Freedom by singing ‘Let Freedom Ring'”: Kendrick Perkins shares hilarious insight into Philly’s 41-point megaman double at TD Garden

Former NBA champion and ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins revealed that Joel Embiid mocked Ennis Kanter’s Freedom. The Sixers’ big man performance was a beast as he racked up over 40 points.

The Sixers defeated the Celtics 108-103, with Joel Embiid making a scene at TD Garden. Big man Philly had 41 double-double points comprising 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. Embiid fired 51.9% from the field, scoring 17 points in the fourth quarter.

However, the highlight of the game was Embiid’s domination of Enes Kanter Freedom. In the 13 matches they’ve played against each other, Embiid has a clear advantage with a 9-4 score.

Kanter has been making headlines with a lot of his statements lately. His comments about LeBron James and Michael Jordan earned him a lot of criticism. Kanter had called on NBA icons not to comment on forced labor and the injustices taking place in China.

The Turkish national also had a problem with sports giant Nike, which engages in forced labor in China. Some of the other famous personalities who have faced Kanter’s accusations include Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Nets owner Joe Tsai, to name a few.

Joel Embiid makes fun of Enes Kanter.

The Sixers moved up to sixth after tonight’s win over the Celtics, courtesy of Embiid. On the other hand, the Celtics slipped to the ninth seed and fell below +500. Both teams played with a depleted roster in light of many players entering the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

However, Embiid took the Sixers’ reigns into his own hands, especially during the crisis time of the game. The seven-foot-tall center scored three jumping shots over Canter in the final minutes of the game. Thus it was only a matter of time before NBA fans hunted him down.

Kanter’s comments on icons like MJ and LeBron have definitely rubbed their fans the wrong way. And so they wouldn’t leave any chance of calling a big guy up at the Celtics if he had a night off. Recently, Kanter was trolled for overtaking LeBron and not confronting him due to the accusations he made at the Lakers star.
