detour way: Barracuda concludes the 2021-22 season with two games at the all-new Dollar Loan Center in Henderson against the Silver Knights, starting Friday. Barracuda is 1-5 against the Golden Knights branch this year and 0-2 in Las Vegas. Coda has fallen three times in a row to Henderson since defeating the Silver Knights on January 8, 6-3, at the SAP Center and topping them 19 to 9 in the three games and 32 to 19 during the series season. Between the regular season and the play-off games, Barracuda is 0-8 all the time when he plays in Sin City. Since moving to downloadable content, the Silver Knights are 4-2-1 and have now won a treble in a row.

main movement: Daniel Goschen and Janon Larrock joined Barracuda earlier this week after their junior campaign and made their professional debut on Wednesday in Bakersfield. Guschchin has already signed his NHL contract and was assigned from Sharks to Barracuda on Tuesday, while Laroque has yet to sign an NHL deal but has joined Barracuda for an amateur trial. Additionally, Orlando’s Barracuda d-man Cole Moberg called up ECHL, and forward Tyler Bird and defensemen’s defenseman Luke McInnis signed pro test agreements after the Sharks called Santeri Hataka and Thomas Bordello.

Two more in teal: The Sharks signed freshman Nick Cicek to a two-year entry contract last Monday. In his first professional campaign, Cicek, 21, scored 23 points (five goals, 18 assists) in 51 games for Barracuda.

Off-road: After racking up points in eight of his nine games starting in March, Barracuda is now down from his last 13 games after losing 4-1 at Bakersfield on Wednesday. The 13-game slip (0-11-2-0) is the longest in franchise history. During the extension period, Barracuda conserved only 27 goals (2.07 goals per game) and scored one goal or fewer six times. In addition, the team has conceded 64 goals in 13 matches (4.92 goals per match). Entering on Friday, Barracuda is ranked 20th in the league in terms of goals per game (2.97) and 31st for an average of 4.25.

Great Dane: Danish-born Joachim Bleichfeld has scored 24 goals and is only one shy of matching Barclay Goudreau’s franchise red lights record in a single season set in the 2016-17 season. Blichfeld already set the club’s record for most goals in power play (12) in a season earlier this year. Blichfeld enters Friday by just one point short of 100 in his AHL career (52 goals, 47 assists).

hot day: Len Pederson scored twice in Barracuda’s 4-3 away loss to the Canucks on Friday and now has 18 points (9 + 9 = 18) in 20 games for the club so far this year. Pederson also skated in 28 games with the Sharks, where he scored two assists.

Night Light: The Silver Knights came in on Friday after winning three in a row and drawing 5-0-1 over their last six and 7-2-1 in their last 10. He scored more than 3 goals in each of his last six and averaged 4.5 goals during the extension period.
