Why Bruins Can Cover Spreads/Win

The Boston Bruins tied the series with a much-needed win on their last outing. They’ll be back on the road again tonight even though match seven won’t be easy. Bruins also swapped goalkeepers in the series, starting Linus Ullmark for games one and two before putting on Jeremy Swayman for the rest of the series so far. We can expect to see Swayman at the net again in an important seventh game as he’s been 0.913 saves in his four qualifying games so far. The Bruins need to maintain their attack, but their defense needs to step up more and stop Canes from even getting shots. As long as Swayman can stop the pucks, it doesn’t really matter how many shots the wand can take tonight.

Why tornadoes can cover the spread / win

Carolina Hurricanes really rose to the plate with Antti Raanta in her net for this series because he was easily the difference maker in the series. It certainly helps when Carolina’s defense limited Boston’s attack to every long streak. Now that we’re in game seven, Canes needs to stay on track and join the board early enough to get the Bruins playing from the back. The Canes don’t get enough credit for their attack because they don’t really have that star talent in their squad, but their first streak was setting goals, but not enough. The home crowd will be on their side tonight as they have the ice advantage on their turf, and Ranta will start between the tubes again, enjoying a 0.926 save percentage throughout qualifying so far.

Bruins-Hurricanes Prediction & Pick Final

Both teams won their respectable home matches, and if the trend continues to maintain their trademark, the Canes should clinch another victory tonight. With that being said, it’s an absolute blow to who is going to win this game and the series. To be honest, I kind of like the Bruins here. Their only problem is defense, which is countered by a good, but not great, attack of the stick. Each team’s weaknesses are countered by the other teams’ strengths, and it’s been a great streak so far, to say the least. In terms of value, I’ll take the dog, just because we’re not only trying to make money, but we want the Bruins to get ahead as well.

Bruins-Hurricanes Final Prediction and Pick: Bruins Moneyline (+112)
