Dodgers vs Reds – Game Recap – June 21, 2022

Cincinnati — Toni Ginsulin became the first major championship bowler to win nine games, leading Freddy Freeman in five runs as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds 8-2 on Tuesday night.

Gonsolin (9-0) gave up two rounds and three strokes through five innings and 87 throws, relying mostly on a four-stroke fastball and mixing in a spacer and slip. The 28-year-old Right has a 1.58 ERA.

Of the three hits Gonsulin conceded, two were singles, by Jonathan India ahead of the Reds first and Albert Almora Jr. second.

Four of the Dodgers’ homesteaders threw innings free of points to wrap up.

Meanwhile, Reds’ Tyler Mahley (2-6) was lucky to give up just four runs with six. He allowed 12 hits but managed to lock up eight contestants.

Will Smith took the left-field seats in the Dodgers’ first half, his ninth of the season.

Freeman put the Dodgers ahead in third after back-to-back singles for Gavin Lux and Trea Turner, scoring two doubles at the right corner.

Freeman delivered three base-loaded bases from the central square wall on the eighth.

Turner notched four times in the season and extended his streak of success to 13 games.
