Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp 2022 dates, schedule

If the 2022 Tampa Bay Buccaneers are to successfully pass one of the most challenging dates in franchise history and compete for another Super Bowl title, he’ll start in training camp. So circle this date on your summer calendar: July 27.

On Thursday, the Buccaneers announced their training camp schedule for 2022, which will include 12 exercises with Krewe members and special guests at the AdventHealth Training Center. Similar to last year, season ticket members, luxury suite owners, stadium club members, premium seat holders and corporate partners will be able to access these practices on a first-come-first-served basis, with priority given by duration.

“We are excited to offer Krewe members and our corporate partners the opportunity to once again go out and experience the start of our team’s preparations for the upcoming 2022 season,” said Brian Ford, Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer. “Training camp is always one of the most anticipated times of the year for our Season Pass members and their passion during these training sessions always adds to the energy level of training for our players. We also look forward to continuing our longstanding tradition of honoring our military and celebrating with our community partners on Days Especially dedicate them exclusively.

A digital ticket – available through the Ticketmaster Account Manager for all members – will be required to enter all training sessions. There will be a $5 reservation fee per ticket with proceeds going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation to advance the community, inspire youth, and drive social change through programs that enrich the lives of families in the area.

Those who can’t attend practices can still watch the start of each of these 12 drills by viewing the team’s “Training Camp Report,” which will be broadcast on Buccaneers.com as well as Bucs’ YouTube channel, Facebook page and app.

The Buccaneers will open camp with training on Wednesday, July 27, starting at 8:30 a.m., with Season Pass members present. Each of the first ten practices will start at 8:30 AM; The final two stages, joint exercises with the Miami Dolphins, will begin at 10:00 a.m. There are six practices designated for Season Pass members, including two internships related to the Dolphins Visiting Program.

There are two other trainings reserved for stadium club members, and the Buccaneers will also have a special Ladies Day in Red at bootcamp offered by the AdventHealth fan club, which focuses on women, on Tuesday, August 9, and will hold their annual military day at bootcamp. It was submitted by the USAA on Monday, August 1. The practice is designated Wednesday, August 3, as Community Impact Day and will host guests from a number of nonprofits in the Tampa Bay area, including athletes from Florida’s Special Olympics who will participate in post-workout soccer with the Buccaneers.

Here is the full list of bootcamp practices that are open to Season Pass members and other groups in July and August:

  • Tuesday August 9th: Red Women’s Day Bootcamp Presented by AdventHealth
  • Wednesday, August 10: Season Pass members
  • Thursday August 11th: Season Pass Members

All 12 practices are currently scheduled to be held in the outdoor practice areas, which will have covered stands for attendees. The field session on Saturday, July 30, will be part of a university-wide initiative called Training Camp: Back Together on Saturday.

The NFL requires teams to start camp with an acclimation period that gradually increases the amount of time they can spend on the field and the level of contact allowed. The first drills will take place at Tampa Bay Boot Camp which will include full podiums and full contact on Monday, August 1. Joint training with the Miami Dolphins on August 10-11 precedes the team’s pre-season meeting at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, August 13.

Free parking will be available in the yards adjacent to the AdventHealth Training Centre, which will open 1.5 hours prior to the start of training. Training fields gates will open one hour before the scheduled start time. Fans will not be allowed to carry bags except for small hand luggage (maximum size 4.5″ x 6.5″).

Buccaneers fans will be able to purchase official team merchandise from the Fanatics Buccaneers Team Shop that will be on site during Bootcamp. The fan activation area will include local food shows and appearances by Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders and Captain Fear. Additional activities include the children’s area Jr. Bucs, Bucs Street Team RV, and many Buccaneers sponsorship activities.
