As we look forward to all of the Dobbs Summer League action in Las Vegas, let’s recap all the big team news this week and take a peek at what’s to come in the latest issue of Warriors Weekly.

WARRIORS 2022 SUMMER LEAGUE, SUBMITTED BY ORACLE The Warriors kick off their first game of the Summer Basketball League today at 5 p.m. against the New York Knicks (5 p.m.). The event in Las Vegas will see all 30 teams participate in five games, with the two teams holding the best records from the first four games, scheduled to meet in the championship game on Sunday, July 17. Audio broadcast of all Warriors team. Games in Las Vegas will be available on the Warriors mobile app and warriors.com.

THE WARRIORS SIGN THE FREE AGENT GUARD DONTE DIVINCENZO Warriors signed free guard agent Donte DeVincenzo. Originally selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 17th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, DiVincenzo appeared in 42 games (one start) with the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings last season, averaging 9.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists and 1.14 theft. at 24.0 minutes per game and was a member of the 2021 Milwaukee Bucks NBA Championship Team.

Live in Thrive City, courtesy of Chase Live at Thrive City, presented by Chase, kicks off tonight with a free, can’t-miss comedy event. Tonight’s event is hosted by Funcheap and HellaFunny, and will feature stand-up comedians Kabir Singh, Andrew Orolfo, Emily Van Dyke and Stroy Moyd. The action on Thrive City’s summer calendar of events kicks off with live entertainment, food, drinks, and a festival-style experience. Stephen Curry at the American Golf of the Century The range is limitless for Stephen Curry, who is in Lake Tahoe for his annual American Golf Tour Championship of the Century at Edgewood Golf Course in Lake Tahoe. The three-day tournament features three rounds throughout the weekend, pairing the 2022 NBA Finals MVP with his father and brother, Dell and Seth Curry, in the first round today. The show features over 80 athletes and celebrities and marks the four-time NBA champion’s 10th appearance at the event.

2022 Draft Pickup Updates The Warriors signed forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. with the 28th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. Baldwin, 19, averaged 12.1 points and 5.8 rebounds in 11 games, including 10 starts, during his freshman season at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The striker wears the No. 7 with the Warriors. Goalkeeper Ryan Rollins, who was named with the 44th overall selection in the 2022 NBA Draft, has a fifth metatarsal stress fracture in his right foot and is due to be reassessed again at the end of the Summer League in Las Vegas. Dubs’ 55th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, Gui Santos, played in three games at the California Classic, scoring 23 points, six rebounds and three steals in his Chase Center debut.

Stephen Curry to receive the ESPY Awards on July 20 The 29th Annual ESPY Awards are scheduled for July 20, with Stephen Curry of the Warriors hosting the annual event for the first time. The Finals MVP was nominated into a number of categories, along with teammate Clay Thompson for ‘Best Athlete of Return’ and the Warriors for ‘Best Team’. The annual Excellence in Sports Performance Awards highlights outstanding athletes, sporting moments and more.

Warriors Basketball Summer Camps Warriors Basketball Academy offers a handful of multi-day basketball camps throughout the summer, where all participants receive high-quality instruction, a reversible camp jersey, headband, participation certificate and more.
