Car fireworks explode, one person injured near Sacramento golf course

                Two people were hospitalized after authorities believed an illegal firecracker or similar device had accidentally exploded inside a car in Sacramento.  Several roads are now closed while police are investigating.  The Sacramento Police Department said the explosion occurred Saturday at about 1 p.m. on Coney Drive and Roseville Road near the Hagin Oaks Golf Complex.  Police said that the officers found a man with serious, non-life-threatening injuries when they arrived at the scene of the explosion.  The man was taken to the area hospital, as was the passenger.  Authorities said she was taken to hospital as a precaution, and no further details were revealed about the cause of the explosion.  Authorities said road closures are in effect on Roseville Road between Coney Drive and Tree Stations while they investigate.
