We call it the end of an era. It was reported that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson parted ways after nine months of dating. e! The news was the first to report the split.
According to the outlet, the couple broke up amicably this week due to their busy schedules and long distances. Kardashian is based in Los Angeles, while Davidson is based in New York City. The news puts an end to their high-profile relationship, which has seen them appear in public together including the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and the 2022 Met Gala.
The Kardashian representative had no comment when contacted by TODAY, and we’ve yet to hear back from Davidson’s team.
While appearing on TODAY in June, the reality star and businesswoman made it clear that she was careful in her approach to introducing Davidson to her children.
“I definitely wanted to wait six months, and that was the pointer. It’s different for everyone, different things work for different people,” Kardashian told Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie at the time. “But you just have to do what you feel is right and try to be respectful and careful. As much as possible.”
According to the couple, the two met last fall during Kardashian’s appearance on Saturday Night Live, where Davison appeared as a cast member.
The two became official on Instagram in March of this year.
In the months since their relationship began, the pair have often given fans insight into their relationship with posts on social media. During an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Kardashian revealed that the comedian has paid tribute to her for a permanent form of body tattoo, hinting there may be more than one.
“I think my favorite…written here,” My girl is a lawyer. Kardashian explained that this guy is really cute.
In a post shared on her Instagram in March, Kardashian appeared to confirm the body toner that looked like it was on Davidson’s collarbone.
For her physical homage, Kardashian shared a photo of a hot pink manicure with the letter P stunned on her ring finger.
This post coincided with her tribute to Davidson’s recent “Saturday Night Live” appearance on her Instagram story. In it, the reality TV star and business owner shared a bunch of photos featuring Davidson throughout his eight seasons on the live-graph series.
