Tampa Bay Buccaneers impressive rookie early in training camp

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Arizona State University’s Rashad White with the 91st overall pick in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Since coming to Tampa Bay, White has impressed many within the Boss organization from General Manager Jason Licht to Head Coach Todd Bulls.

With just over a week in training camp, White is already showing glimpses of what he could be in the NFL and the Bucs staff are taking notice.

“He’s very smart,” said Bowles. “Shorts and shirts now – I think everyone is having a good camp because it’s all about the mentality, some speed, some movement. Once we start hitting and the fixings go up and look at who can hold the information and the execution on the field, I think that starts to work itself out. But he is a very strong player. We loved him when we recruited him. He understands what needs to be done, he has a great vision and it would be exciting to see him in pads.”
