NBA Games Today and Tomorrow: Where to watch NBA games

The games are broadcast on ABC, ESPN, and TNT. As of now, ESPN broadcasts double heads on Wednesday and Friday nights, while TNT has double heads that air on Tuesday and Thursday nights. In the second half of the season, ABC shows a game on Saturday and Sunday.

In addition, various regional networks have the rights to broadcast the games. Be sure to check local listings to see which local channels have the rights to your favorite team’s games. As of now, the two most popular regional networks are NBC Sports and Bally Sports. Here’s a full set of LANs that cover every team.

Next, the league allows subscriptions on the app and website for both NBA League Pass and NBATV, which also stream most games. The exception to this is a local power outage.

NBA Games Today and Tomorrow: Blackout Restrictions

One example of a blackout is that if you’re in New York trying to watch a New York Knicks game on an NBA League Pass, it won’t be allowed. Since you are local, the site will prompt you to check your local listings. The same concept applies to any games that are broadcast on national television (ESPN, TNT, etc.).

Also, if a game is broadcast on national television (ESPN, TNT, etc.), it will not often be broadcast on local channels. These games can only be watched on national television networks.

NBA Games Today and Tomorrow: Watch games for free

Currently, there are no free ways to view games. However, if you already have cable TV, you may be subscribing to local and national TV networks that broadcast games. Be sure to check your listings.

Furthermore, national television networks like TNT will allow viewers to see a 10-minute preview of the game on their website, but will then prompt you to enter your TV provider information if you want to continue.

NBA Games Today & Tomorrow: Best Game Streaming Apps

The best applications to use for playing games are those associated with each platform separately. ESPN has an ESPN app, TNT has a TNT app, and ABC has an ABC app too. The league has an app that allows those who subscribe to watch matches on League Pass and NBATV as well.

In addition, most local networks have applications that allow subscribers to watch games on them. For example, NBC has an app that allows local viewers to watch team games covered by their networks.
