VGK announces end-of-season prize plans for T-Bird Jewels

Vegas (April 15, 2022) The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, April 15, that the team will host the regular season awards ceremony after the home game of the regular season on Sunday, April 24 when the Golden Knights play the San Jose Sharks at 7 p.m. PT. T-Mobile Arena. An award ceremony is presented by T-Bird Jewels, with winners receiving a special commemorative watch.

Three total prizes will be awarded to winning players, including the Vegas Golden Knights First Star Award determined by the Home Games “Stars of the Game” vote; Vegas Strong Service Award for Player Most Contributed to Serving the Vegas Community and Giving Back; And the seventh player award for the player who exceeded expectations on the ice.

Since the Golden Knights asked for concessions on October 30, Amadeo has appeared in 46 games with Vegas and collected 17 points (10 G, 7 A). His 10 goals during the 2021-22 season are the highest levels of his career. Amadeo has previously spent time in the National Hockey League with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Los Angeles Kings and signed a two-year contract with the Golden Knights on January 30.

Howden was acquired by the Golden Knights of the New York Rangers on July 17. With Vegas, the striker scored 20 points (9 G, 11 A), four points shy of his career high. His offensive contributions were highlighted in late January and early February when he scored in four consecutive games and scored points in five consecutive competitions.

Hutton signed with Vegas as a free agent on October 28 after playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks. The defending man has since appeared in 51 games with the Golden Knights and scored 12 points (3x, 9a) for a +7 rating. The Ontario native signed a two-year contract extension with Vegas on March 5.

In his third season with Vegas, Roy scored his career highs in games played (71), goals (14), assists (21) and points (35). His 71 appearances during the 2021-22 campaign is tied for third place among all Vegas skiers. The Golden Knights acquired the striker from Carolina Hurricane in June of 2019.

After the awards are presented, the team will participate in a “Jerseys Off Our Backs” event presented by Homie where players will take the ice after the game and present their worn jerseys to select fans at the T-Mobile Arena.
