“One of the best things that happened to me was my suspension in 2014. I had to make a paradigm shift… I served the longest suspension in Major League Baseball history,” A-Rod admitted. “2014 became the most important year of my life. Some very long nights, some very lonely nights.”

The former Yankee also confirmed that the suspension cost him about $45 million. But it was worth every penny.
