Chris Buescher was the latest surprise NASCAR winner, hitting the checkers first last Saturday night in Bristol.
If any stock put in momentum and positive sentiment, you should know that Buescher’s win did not significantly improve his position among the odds makers. For this week’s qualifying race at Texas Motor Speedway, Buescher is sitting there halfway at +5000.
This might be worth the sniff.
The potential yield, at +2000, is not good, and we hate to keep hitting that drum, but at this price, Bubba Wallace isn’t the worst place to put some dough. He’s the latest winner of the 1.5-mile track, just two weeks ago in Kansas, and guess the length of this week’s place.
take a deep breath. ready? This week’s race in Fort Worth is officially known as the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500.
Let’s roll through the possibilities panel. . .
Kyle and Richard:With Kyle Busch, will Richard Childress face Dale Earnhard’s seven NASCAR Championships?
North Wilkesboro!:The cool old arena is back on the NASCAR map; It will host the 2023 All Star Race | Ken Willis
Kyle Larson +550, Denny Hamlin +600, Christopher Bell +700, Chase Elliott +800, Kyle Bush +900
Something tells us that a Christopher Bell win is coming soon. He’s been living in the top five lately. Sitting in the third row here, the handicappers and the betting crowd seem to agree. Chase Elliott, as always, is among the candidates. He had to drive the Flintstones family truck in order to slide off the board.
Ryan Blaney +1000, Ross Chastain +1000, Martin Truex, Jr. +1000, William Byron +1200, Joey Logano +1500, Kevin Harvick +1500, Tyler Riddick +1500
We’re still high on Joey Lugano here. Martin Truex wants a win so bad he can taste. I’ve been avoiding Riddick and Blaney for various reasons. Byron is back on his form, so a win is out of the question. I don’t know what to do with Ross The Boss now.
Bubba Wallace +2000, Alex Bowman +3000, Daniel Suarez +4000, Austin Cendrick +4000, Eric Almerola +5000, Chris Bucher +5000
Expect Cindric’s odds return after this week, as the next two weeks bring track on the road and a plate race. If I give some small banknotes to throw, I will drop one coin on Bubba and Buescher.
Ty Gibbs +10000, Erik Jones +10000, Chase Briscoe +10000, Austin Dillon +10000, Brad Keselowski +10000, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. +20000, Michael McDowell +20000, Cole Custer +20000
If you could buy shares in Ty Gibbs, you would jump on them yesterday. But all they offer now is a chance to win $10,000 if you are willing to invest $100. You know what that means: $10 will bring you $1000. I don’t think he’s ready to win, but I think he might be ready to drive, and it might rain. . . See where I’m going. Is this worth the 10 bucks? Possible and possible not.
Noah Gragson +30000, Justin Haley +50000, Harrison Burton +50000, Todd Gilliland +100000, Ty Dillon +100000, Corey Lajoie +100000, Landon Cassill +100000, BJ McLeod +100000, Garrett Smithley +100000, Cody Ware +100000
Did someone mention a short term win? Hey, there’s Justin Hailey hanging out at +50,000. Lightning rarely strikes twice, however, put the money clip away. There didn’t seem to be any potential sleepers sleeping in this crowd.
