Bass Pro Stores announces plans for a new destination retail store in Grand Prairie, Texas

The fifth outdoor retailer location in Dallas-Fort Worth will feature Bass Pro, Capella and Tracker stores

Grand Prairie, Texas – Today, officials at Bass Pro and Capella Stores announced plans to open a new retail store in Grand Prairie, Texas.

The new 100,000-square-foot store will be the region’s fifth outdoor retail location and 15The tenth A location in Texas, serving the southern part of the Dallas metro area and making it easier and more convenient for our clients in Dallas, who have been enjoying world-class outdoor opportunities that have drawn people to the area for generations.

“We are very excited to open yet another location in the great state of Texas, where we come to know the incredibly passionate athletes and women who love the outdoors as much as we do,” said Johnny Morris, conservation activist and founder of Bass Pro Stores. “We are excited to expand our ability to serve these customers with the display of our popular outdoor brands, including Bass Pro, Capella and Tracker boats and ATVs.”

The new outdoor mega destination Bass Pro Shops Ador World will offer the region’s most comprehensive selection of premium outdoor gear at low prices with friendly, expert, industry-leading service.

Like all Bass Pro store locations, the new store will have a completely unique custom design. Conceived as a tribute to the region’s great sporting heritage and a celebration of Texas athletes and athletes, the store will build on the distinctive qualities that define the award-winning Bass Pro Shops shopping experience that combines retail, entertainment, outdoor education, and conservation.

The store will also showcase the boat industry’s leading brands including TRACKER, NITRO, SUN TRACKER, REGENCY and TAHOE boats created by Bass Group Pro White River Marine, the manufacturer of America’s favorite fishing boats. In addition, the new location will showcase a variety of new TRACKER OFF ROAD ATVs and side-by-side vehicles, America’s fastest growing off-road vehicle brand.

More than just a hunting and fishing store, the retail destination will provide equipment and clothing for all outdoor adventures, including hiking, backpacking, wildlife watching, camping and other related outdoor gear. The Gift and Nature Center will feature a variety of outdoor-related items from lamps and dishes to bird feeders and furniture. The men’s, women’s and children’s apparel divisions will offer a wide range of brands including RedHead, TrueTimber, ASCEND, Worldwide Sportsman, Bob Timberlake, and Natural Reflections, along with popular national brands like Columbia, North Face, Under Armor and more for even more choice, quality and value.

Immersive exterior features

In addition to providing customers with the outdoor products they love, a team of talented artists and craftsmen will design local images of the shop to enhance its immersive exterior. Distinguished creativity and attention to detail are hallmarks of every experience from Johnny Morris, often referred to as the “Walt Disney of the Outdoors” for his talent for creating amazing experiences that connect people with nature.

Unique indoor and outdoor decorations Bass Pro Stores have been described as visually appealing, high-quality outdoor retail destinations that customers love. In addition to providing a fun outdoor experience indoors, Bass Pro store locations feature a large aquarium and water features filled with local fish species, thousands of local antiques and artifacts, hundreds of trophy fish and wildlife stands, and murals depicting local scenes.

Celebrating conservation and society

Conservation, another Morris brand and premium value to the company, will play an important role in the store’s mission. The new location will host dozens of events throughout the year with the goal of connecting new audiences – especially children – with the outdoors. Hands-on demonstrations and interactive activities such as “Gone Fishing”, an annual event aimed at introducing families to fishing through catch-and-release ponds, casting games and free fishing seminars with the goal of creating the next generation of conservationists will be offered. Over 100,000 kids caught fish at Bass Pro Stores events last year alone, many for the first time. The store will also support local conservation organizations that protect wildlife and habitat.
