Shambhala Music Festival
Shambhala is Canada’s longest-running independent dance music gathering and one of the most popular festivals in the country. It came back earlier in 2022 in its 23rd edition with shows from the likes of SLANDER, TOKiMONSTA, Valentino Khan, Channel Tres, CloZee and more.
Boasting a vibrant dance music scene, Calgary is home to the annual Badlands Music Festival, while within easy reach of Wicked Woods, which offers one of Canada’s most immersive arts festivals and experiences.
Located in the heart of Calgary, Badlands took place over 11 days in July and featured iconic bands from electronic music icons such as The Chainsmokers, ILLENIUM and Zedd, as well as energetic performances from the likes of Don Toliver, Manila Gray, The Road Hammers and Young Gravy.
Wicked Woods Festival of Music and the Arts
Calgary is the closest major city near Wicked Woods, which is one of the most intimate electronic music festivals in British Columbia. A long-running event, bringing together a diverse audience from across the country, Wicked Woods has successfully returned for its 12th edition this year, showcasing an impressive array of established and up-and-coming talent.
