Longhorns Daily News: Texas DC Pete Kwiatkowski has been historically dominant against air raid crimes, such as Texas Tech

Prior to being defensive coordinator for the Texas Longhorns, Pete Kwiatkowski helped lead the Washington Huskies’ defense to three Pac 12 North titles, a Pac 12 Championship, and a college football playoff appearance, where Husky was rocked by the Alabama Crimson Tide. In other words, he’s been a huge hit in college football.

This is particularly the case against the airstrike attack scheme, notes Inside Texas.

Inside Texas: “It doesn’t matter [then Washington State head coach Mike Leach] Thrown (literally) at Kwiatkowski’s defenses, PK was always one step ahead. Wazzu never topped 20 points against Kwiatkowski’s defense in a joint format or format (note: the 2020 Apple Cup was not held due to COVID-19, and Leach was in Mississippi at that point.”

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are coming out of their air raid assault this weekend in Lubbock. It is led by Donovan Smith, sophomore Redshirt quarterback, and offensive coordinator Zach Keatley, who ran Western Kentucky’s offensive campaign last season.
