Of all the Robert Sarver selling the Suns, the one-year drama Im Odoka, the fact that the NBA games are just around the corner has fallen into the background. Lots of stars are coming back from injuries and that means a new order for favorite titles. Here are the top 5 contenders for the 22/23 NBA season title.
1. Golden State Warriors – 6.50
Want to be the hero? Beat the hero. Warriors lost Gary Payton II, and responded with Donte Divincenzo. Time and time again, Golden State has proven that the fit of its system is just as important as being talented. That’s why Kelly Uber didn’t work, and DeVincenzo will.
Other than that, the championship roster came back with another big lead. Klay will really be 100% from day one of the season. Is there anything else you want to hear?

2. Boston Celtics – 7.00
Celtics? Are odds makers crazy? Not only were their head coach suspended due to a lot of drama surrounding the team, but Danilo Gallinari tore up the AFC Champions League shortly after joining the squad, and Robert Williams third. He had to have knee surgery. On top of all that, Danny Inge faced the perfect man to replace Odoka – Will Hardy being the head coach of the Utah Jazz.
So why does Vegas hold such great respect for the Celtics? Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown have serious definitive experiences, that’s why. Don’t forget Marcus Smart, Al Horford, Malcolm Brogdon, and the fact that they seem to have the best man to slow Giannis at Grant Williams. Once Williams III. Coming back, the Celtics still have defensive power, and we all know what they say about defense – they win championships.
3. Brooklyn Nets – 8.00
The NBA television series team, the Nets have had a drama-filled off-season. I get the position. As long as you have Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on your team, you’re a contender for the title. But these guys are so unpredictable that I would stay away from this. The “if they are in the ballpark” part is a large part of the “if”. Did I mention Ben Simmons is the third guy?
4. Los Angeles Clippers – 8.50
If you want to swing one of the top 5 candidates, Clippers are my pick. It’s not just about Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. If there’s a title contender who can boast insane depth, it’s the Clippers. are you ready?
John Wall, Reggie Jackson, Terrence Mann, Norman Powell, Ivica Zubak, Nicholas Batum, Robert Covington, Marcus Morris Sr., Luke Kennard. The Clippers have 11 legitimate NBA players on the roster. This means that Kawhi and PG13 can manage minutes, reduce injury risks, and be prepared for the times that matter most. BTW, I didn’t think it was possible, but Kohei got stronger.
5. Milwaukee Bucks – 8.50
Basketball’s best Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday’s best peripheral defender, and Khris Middleton came back to drain those shots in the fourth when everyone panicked at Giannis. The Bucks are champions who have had their bottom year, ready to claim the title once again.
Just to indicate how crazy the competition is in the NBA this year, I’ll list the teams that didn’t make the top five and could legitimately win the title. Suns (regular season best record last year), Mavericks (Luka Doncic), Nuggets (Jokic, Murray will return), Grizzlies (J Morrant and second-deepest team after the Clippers), Heat (Jimmy “Mr. Comma” Butler, Kyle Lowry in shape, Pam Adebayo and Eric Spoelstra), the 76er (Embied and Harden, the most dangerous pick and roll in the NBA).
