MSG Networks releases broadcast schedule for 2022-23 New York Rangers


The New York Rangers broadcast schedule has been released by MSG Networks. In total, 69 regular season games and 5 pre-season games will be on the agenda.

It all starts next Monday when they face the New York Islanders (9/26/22) with a puck drop scheduled for 7pm. The Rangers’ first regular season game will be played on MSG Networks on October 13th versus the Minnesota Wild with coverage starting at 7:30 p.m.

Michelle Gingras will once again provide in-game analysis, while also interviewing players throughout the pre-match, post-match and each break. Host John Giannone will be joined in studio by former Rangers goalkeeper and Emmy-winning studio analyst Steve Falkett for pre-match, post-match and break coverage, along with legendary Rangers goalkeeper and franchise icon Henrik Lundqvist for select games throughout the season.

Versatile play-by-play announcer Kenny Albert returns to the age of 27The tenth The season as Rangers Radio Voice, which calls to play on ESPN Radio 98.7, with former Rangers captain Dave Maloney doing the analysis. Maloney will also contribute to the network’s television coverage during the season. Don La Greca will serve as a backup broadcaster for play-by-games on ESPN 98.7.

The event kicks off with a pre-season action, as five of the Rangers’ six exhibition games are broadcast on MSG. Fans can watch the show’s competition October 5 against the Boston Bruins at Madison Square Garden on TNT starting at 7:00 p.m.

MSG Networks will broadcast 69 regular season games this season on either MSG, MSG2, or MSGSN (formerly MSG+).

The remaining games will be on ABC, ESPN, ESPN+, and TNT. You can view the broadcast schedule here.

NBAll games broadcast on MSG Networks, in addition to network pre-match and post-game coverage, will also be available on MSG GO, the network’s live streaming and video-on-demand platform.
