2023 Masters Tournament Unofficial Field List, Qualifiers

This is the unofficial field roster for the 2023 Masters, which is slated for April 3-9 at Augusta National Golf Course in Augusta, Ga.

Players can qualify for golf’s premiere majors in several ways, including past champions and winners of other major tournaments (more on that below). We will update this article each time another player qualifies between now and the tournament in April.

First, here’s how players qualify for the Masters, according to the official website at Masters.com.

  1. Masters Tournament Champions (for life)
  2. 2018-2022 US Open Champion (honorary, not competing after five years)
  3. 2018-2022 British Open Champion (honorary, not competing after five years)
  4. 2018-2022 PGA Champions (honorary, not competing after five years)
  5. Players Championship Winners 2021-2023 (three years)
  6. Current Olympic Gold Medalist (1 year)
  7. 2022 U.S. Amateur (7-A) Champion (honorary, not competing after one year) and Runner-up (7-B) for the 2022 U.S. Amateur Champion
  8. 2022 British Amateur Champion (honorary, not competing after 1 year)
  9. 2022 Asia Pacific Amateur Champion
  10. 2023 Latin American Amateur Champion
  11. 2022 U.S. Amateur Midfield Champion
  12. First 12 players, including ties, at the 2022 Masters Tournament
  13. Top 4 players, including ties, at the 2022 US Open
  14. Top 4 players, including ties, at the 2022 British Open
  15. Top 4 players, including ties, at the 2022 PGA Championship
  16. Individual winners of PGA Tour events that award a full points allocation to the season-ending tour tournament, from the 2022 Masters Championship to the 2023 Masters Championship
  17. 2022 tournament finalists
  18. The 50 leaderboards in the final Official World Golf Ranking for the previous calendar year
  19. 50 leaders in the Official World Golf Ranking published during the week prior to the current Masters
