Expedia: Partners with Afterpay to bring flexible spending to millions of travelers in the US

For the first time, customers can book travel with Expedia through the Afterpay app

Seattle, WA, November 21, 2022 – Expedia Group, the world’s leading traveler technology platform, has announced a partnership with “buy now, pay later” company, Afterpay. Today, millions of U.S.-based customers can now book flights and hotels with Expedia through a co-branded experience in the Afterpay app, selecting the option to pay in four interest-free installments.

Afterpay’s Pay in 4 product allows customers to manage their finances by spreading their payments over six weeks without interest. By partnering with the Expedia Group, Afterpay can offer millions of customers a way to pay for trips that fit their budget. Powered by Expedia Group’s retail partnerships technology, customers can browse and book Expedia Group’s global offering of more than three million properties and more than 500 airlines worldwide, exclusively through this personalized experience.
