Free Fire Global Series 2022 Bangkok Details

Garena’s biggest and most anticipated tournament, the Free Fire World Series (FFWS), is set to return this month! Qualified teams from around the world have arrived in Thailand to compete in the FFWS 2022 Bangkok Finals which will be taking place this weekend from November 25-26 at 10pm (GMT+8)!

Fans can expect an action-packed weekend as the world’s top teams battle it out in Thailand – home to the champions of the two previous FFWS tournaments! During the most recent FFWS 2022 tournament held in May this year, Attack All Around managed to defeat defending FFWS 2021 champions Sentosa EVOS Phoenix by just one point, claiming the coveted tournament title after fighting its way up from the Play-ins. Not only did both teams from Thailand win the tournament, but they also dominated the scoreboard, leading other teams in the finals by more than 15 points.

With FFWS debuting and Blackhorse Nigma Galaxy qualifying as the first Thai seed in this World Series and EVOS Phoenix as the second seed, fans are left wondering how the competition plays out in Bangkok this weekend – will the Thai teams manage to defend their champion title? Or will the masses witness the representative of the emerging league this season?

FFWS 2022 Bangkok will be divided into two phases: Extra Play and Finals, both consisting of eight matches. Stages will alternate between maps Bermuda, Kalahari, Purgatory and, for the first time in the World Series, Alpine, which features an Arctic biome markedly different from the other three maps.

At the end of each round, teams will be awarded points based on their ranking and elimination. For each elimination, the team will receive one point. If any team wins a BOOYAH! , the team will get 12 points, followed by 9 points for second place and 8 points for third place. In the event of a tie, the team with more BOOYAH wins!

This world championship has the chance to win exciting rewards by participating in various missions and activities within the game. From now until December 1st, 5 limited-time stages await players on the themed interface – FFWS: FIGHT AS ONE. Through a series of fun daily missions, players can collect FFWS Tokens to unlock these landmarks, which will give winners rewards like Avatar, Banner, and the chance to hit the campaign’s grand prize – Free Fire’s newest pet, Arvon!

FFWS Tokens can also be collected by competing in games – players can search for tokens scattered across maps in Battle Royale mode, or obtain tokens after completing matches in Clash Squad, Lone Wolf, and other special modes.

Avid Free Fire collectors can take part in the League Deck Collection event, where 12 limited-edition FFWS 2022 Bangkok esports cards, representing various leagues and world championships, are on hand. When all 12 esports cards are collected, players will receive a brawl scythe, on top of the random reward chest. Fans and players can also participate in the Popping Stars mini-game to get a pickup truck as their reward, as well as the Gametime event to win tiered prizes.

The very popular Pick’n Win event will also return this week. Before additional play begins on November 26, fans around the world can be a part of the FFWS 2022 event in Bangkok by submitting their predictions for the teams’ rankings, the deadliest weapons used, as well as the final FFWS 2022 Bangkok champion. All voting participants will enjoy the rewards regardless of their their choice.

In addition to everything happening this weekend, fans and gamers can also tune in to a special music video, “Fight as One.” Inspired by the upbeat World Championship, the track seeks to excite fans and players, while highlighting the overall tournament concept of persevering against the odds and fighting as a team. Take a look at Arvon, the official mascot of FFWS 2022 in Bangkok, as he embarks on a special music video transformation journey!
