Paige Spiranac is the poster child for athletes-turned-influencers. After her 2016 decision to step away from professional golf, she started working as a social media personality within golf, and it’s been going great.

Her Twitter account has more than 700k followers, but her Instagram is where she really excels. There, she has nearly four million followers. She’s doing very well, and her decision to leave golf, which can take millions to its most successful players, was a good one.

As a result, many have tried to follow in her footsteps. It created a path that many golfers now intend to take.

Bri Teresi is another famous golf model. Her Instagram can’t compete with Spiranac, but she has over a million followers.

However, where you excel might be the NSFW site, OnlyFans. She has 150k followers on the site, where fans can get exclusive content.

Many of these golfers are already successful in their own right. They have amassed a huge following and are doing well with their golf dreams. They may not be as famous as the former professional golfer herself, but they are well on their way.

Why did Paige Spiranac quit golf in the first place?

In 2016, the former professional golfer decided to move away from the professional side of the sport. She still plays but no longer competes in any tournaments. The once-promising golfer chose to pursue a new career, but it wasn’t because she wasn’t doing well:

“For me, it was never a physical ability. It was always a mental ability.”

Spiranac thinks stress may have played a role. I enjoyed the game a lot less when it was competitive. Tournaments were particularly difficult:

“I think it’s even better now that I’m playing it just for fun. … That’s why my game is better than when I was playing pro.”

Seems like it was the wise choice to avoid all that stress and simply have fun.
