Where will Brandon Nemo end up?
The New York Mets are sure to be wondering just that as they watch their superstar explore free agency. Nimmo leads the midfield and teams are interested in the 29-year-old.

One such team is the Toronto Blue Jays. Nemo could be headed to the American League.
“I would be somewhat surprised if he didn’t sign the Toronto Blue Jays as well [Cody] Bellinger or Brandon Nimmo. This team is badly needed to get an athletic, left-handed midfielder.”
The Blue Jays have emerged as a major threat to take over Nemo after last Wednesday’s deal for All-Star player Teoscar Hernandez to the Seattle Mariners.
after trade, John Morosi from MLB Network mentioned ” #blue jays are showing interest in free agent Brandon Nemo, sources say; Teoscar Hernandez’s trade freed up a spot in Toronto’s lineup to add the left-handed bat that was lacking.”
Athletic Ken Rosenthal On Friday, the Los Angeles Dodgers reported that Bellinger was out-tendered, making him a free agent. Like Nemo, he is a left-handed bat as well as a center fielder.
MLB Trade Rumors names the Mets, Blue Jays, Miami Marlins, Texas Rangers, Tampa Bay Rays, Colorado Rockies, Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants as speculation to suit Bellinger.
Last week, SNY’s Andy Martino reported that Nimmo is personally meeting the teams and several teams have expressed that they will be moving the quarterback to cornerback for Nimmo. Martino reports that the list of interested clubs includes the Mets, New York Yankees, Colorado Rockies, and Blue Jays, “and that’s far from a complete accounting.”
This past Tuesday, John Heyman of the New York Post reported that the Yankees had “many unspectacular relationships with agents, including with shortstops Trea Turner, Carlos Correa, Xander Bogaerts and also star crosstown center Brandon Nemo.”

Of course, the Yankees’ interest in these superstars is secondary to the club re-signing outfielder Aaron Judge.
Nimmo has also been closely associated with the Rocky Mountains for a while, and that would be a logical landing spot for Wyoming residents.
Keep in mind, the Mets are making no secret of the fact that they are serious about re-signing Nimmo. He is believed to be the club’s top priority following the re-signing of Edwin Diaz earlier this month.
