Three anglers are writing names in the BASS Record books with Bassmaster’s 2023 Top Honors

As Gregory charts new territory in the Bassmaster Kayak Series, the 2023 Elite Series season has seen the legendary status of “The Prodigy” continue to grow.

Palahniuk does not consider himself a legend. In his mind, he was still 8 years old Rathdrum, Idaho, who discovered the dream of reaching the biggest stage in bass fishing. But by winning the 2022 Progressive Insurance Bassmaster Angler of the Year, Palahniuk became the 12th angler to win multiple AOY titles, with his first coming back in 2017.

“It’s amazing. It hasn’t sunk in yet,” Palahniuk said of his second AOY title. Poche’s attention will be turned towards the 2023 Elite Series as he has a number of events running around the schedule, notably the Bassmaster Elite at Lay Lake which is an hour away from his home.
