Stephen Curry’s Warriors Are Tired Of Waiting For James Wiseman, Insider Reveals The Franchise Is Going After Miles Turner Instead

James Wiseman is having a rough season. Initially, he looked good on the comeback, with his athleticism and heading ability on full display. But the NBA soon caught up to him. Teams began to discover his game. And it soon became apparent that it wasn’t developed enough for the next level yet.

As a result of this reality, Wiseman was sent to the G League again, with the hope that he could get the playing time needed to develop there.

Meanwhile, many expected the Dubs to keep Kevon Looney and JaMychal Green as their main men. But it seems the championship team has no interest in waiting.

An NBA insider recently released new information about who Stephen Curry and the Warriors want off the commercial market. Suffice it to say, it’s not the best news for James Wiseman.

Stephen Curry and the Warriors are looking to bring in either Jacob Boltle or Miles Turner

Both players are skilled big men who fit into the Warriors’ complex system, in very different ways.

Poeltl may not have the treble ball, he is a very clever and skilful player with Tottenham.

The 7’1-inch, 27-year-old is known for making complex plays, including catch breakers, something the Warriors’ system uses sparingly. And maybe something James Wiseman should be seriously concerned about, considering his lack of sense for the game.

On the other hand, Myles Turner is one of the best two-way centers in the game right now.

His edge guarding abilities are absolutely excellent, and his ability to hit all three, while having a versatile indoor game would be a dream come true for Dubs.

But, while both players would fit the Warriors really well, who is the team most likely to get ahead of this trade deadline?

Jakob Poeltl is clearly the realistic choice for the Warriors

While Jakob Poeltl is a great player, Myles Turner is clearly even better. So, it makes sense to go after him aggressively… right?

Well, not exactly.

The Indiana Pacers are currently on Tyrese Halliburton’s schedule. And although Al Qaeda is in the same recruiting class as James Wiseman, the big man’s lack of sophistication is no secret.

As constructed, the Pacers look poised to win now. This season only, the franchise is 4The tenth In a dominant East, with a 10-6 record, and 8 wins in their last 10.

No. A more realistic option would be Jacob Boltel, who is coming off a team focused on rebuilding, and currently sits 13.The tenth In the west.

Given the schedule this franchise is in the works, and how good Gregg Popovich is at developing young talent, it’s likely the franchise feels they can turn around the big man’s career.

And in exchange for James Wiseman, the Warriors get a smart big guy on their schedule, who complements their system perfectly.

If the Dubs were to go to one of these two before the deadline, it would be Jakob Poeltl.
