Will the Packers rookie continue his stellar performance in Week 12 of the 2022 NFL season?

Christian Watson is a wide receiver who plays for the Green Bay Packers. Watson was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Packers. He was billed as Aaron Rodgers’ main weapon after the franchise lost Davante Adams, Marquis Valdes-Scantling and Equineumos St. Brown in the offseason.

Watson’s NFL debut was a bad omen, as the receiver dropped what could have been a long pass for a touchdown on the first offensive snap. However, over the last two games, Christian Watson has seen a real touchdown surge, reaching the end zone five times.

Christian Watson will be available for selection in Week 12, and it’s almost a missed conclusion that he’ll play against the Philadelphia Eagles. Watson is a stylistic mismatch with most fullbacks, as the rookie is 6’5″ tall and is among the fastest and most elusive of his recruiting class. As such, the Eagles have to be in their A game if they want to tie Watson down.

While Watson has seen the endzone five times, he hasn’t seen as much of the ball as you might think. Those five TDs came from his eight receptions and 14 total goals. This is something to beware of. If Watson doesn’t find the endzone, he’s in danger of putting up a low score.

Given that the Eagles can put up a lot of points on Green Bay in Week 12, the Packers will have to reciprocate. With Randall Cobb, Alain Lazard of Questionable, and Romeo Dobbs, Christian Watson should start. His rise is too great to ignore at this pivotal stage of the season and the players can look forward to a lot from him in this fixture. Expect his downward rampage to continue.

Christian Watson stats for 2022

This season started poorly but turned out to be a great season for Christian Watson. He put in an outstanding performance for someone playing in his first season and under the watchful eye of one of football’s most demanding players.

In Week 11, Watson caught fire, catching four passes for 48 yards on six targets against the Tennessee Titans. He fumbled two Aaron Rodgers touchdown passes of 14 yards and eight yards, respectively.

The North Dakota State University alum went from zero touchdowns to five touchdowns in just four days. The rookie wide receiver stud is starting to emerge as the top pick for league MVP Rodgers in the red zone.

The rookie wide receiver has recorded 18 receptions for 243 yards and five touchdowns in eight games so far this season. Not bad for a rookie and Watson will be looking to finish the regular season strong. If he can continue to impress, he will cement his role in the development of the offense for years to come.
