With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, the Cleveland Browns’ center woes come at a bad time

The Cleveland Browns immediately felt the ramifications of moving Hgalt Froholt at center against the Buffalo Bills, to replace the injured Ethan Bosic who left the game with a knee injury. Blocking out Vita Vea and Akeem Hicks, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackles would be a daunting task under the best of circumstances, but the Browns are forced to choose between a guard who can snap in Froholdt or Greg Mancz, a center signed with the team Tuesday.

The Buccaneers defense hasn’t been as dominant as it has been in the previous few seasons, but that won’t change the fact that the Browns will be facing one of the most imposing defensive tackle pairs in the league. Vea is a few servings of mashed potatoes under 350 lbs while Hicks is 325 lbs. The sheer size alone would be a challenge.
