Back D’Aaron Fox and Infernie Simmons

There are three West Coast games on the NBA schedule tonight, and I’ve found some player props that I love to work on.

We’ll use the Action Labs Player Prop tool to compare our NBA predictions to props published in a variety of sportsbooks. Below, I’ve laid out a couple of the prop bets I play, the status of each bet and the best books for finding odds on these player props.

Props and picks for the NBA player

Anfernee Simons, made over 3.5 3 heads (+110)

Brooklyn Nets vs. Portland Trail Blazers Blazer -1.5
time | Television 10pm ET | NBA League Pass
best line Kings

The Nets have struggled to defend the three-point line so far this season. In fact, the Nets rank 28th in opponent 3-point percentage (38%) and allow opponents to drop 13.5 three-point shots per game, which ranks 27th.

Tonight the net will be challenged with defender Anfernee Simons, a killer three-point scorer who shoots 37.6% from outside the arc. But more importantly, Simons gets up tries on every game from the three-point line. He averages 10.4 tries per game and loses an average of 3.7 per game.

Simmons was hot from behind the arc in his six games in November hitting four or more of three shots five times. Furthermore, Simons has knocked down at least five 3-point shots in three consecutive games for the Blazers. Finally, Simmons has faced two teams, the Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies, who also rank near the bottom of the league in 3-point defense and have knocked down four 3-pointers in each of those games.

De’Aaron Fox, 6.5+ assists (-130)

San Antonio Spurs vs Sacramento Kings Kings 7
time | Television 10pm ET | NBA League Pass
best line Kings

De’Aaron Fox has had a great start to the season improving his jumper and becoming the focal point of the Kings offense. One underrated part of Fox’s game was his ability to find teammates and provide assists, and he should have plenty of chances to fill the stat sheet tonight against a poor Spurs defence.

So far this season, Fox has averaged 6.1 assists per game and has been an amazing shooter in the month of November. In fact, Fox has had seven or more assists in four straight games. This is set up to be a favorable game for him against a Tottenham defense that allows a worst 27.7 assists per game this season.

Fox caught many passes thanks in large part to his pick-and-roll play with Domantas Sabonis and the shooters he has around him, like Kevin Huerter, who shoots 52.6% from three-point land. Expect the Kings to have success on offense tonight against this Spurs defense and Fox to have a big game with at least seven assists.
