It’s been a great ride this season indeed for the Cleveland Cavaliers (12-6, 4-5), who have been literally feast or famine.
Winners of four straight, the Cavs will get another chance to see if they belong with the East Heavies, as they visit the Milwaukee Bucks (12-5, 9-2 at home).
The Bucks are off to a solid start, but injuries have slowed them down — and they’ve yet to play a game with All-Star Khris Middleton this year, who’s still recovering from off-season wrist surgery.
It all starts Friday night (November 25) at 8 PM ET from the Fiserv Forum, in a game that can be seen live on the NBA League Pass.

Cleveland betting predictions
Licking their wounds after a blowout loss in Milwaukee—Cleveland’s fifth in a row—the Cavs’ home cook did some good, as they turned the table on a 4-game home run, culminating with a 114-96 win over the Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.
This all happened after Cleveland snapped an eight-game winning streak to start the year 8-1.
Donovan Mitchell blasted his way against Portland with 34 points, on 11-for-18 shooting, as all Cleveland players finished in double-digit scoring. Darius Garland scored 24 points and 12 assists, while Jarrett Allen scored 24 points with 13 boards.

– The NBA November 24, 2022
The Cavs cooked up this, shooting 55.4% from the field and 12-for-27 from depth, which is a clip of 44.4%. On the year, they ranked as the eighth best team in the league, with the second best three-point mark at 39.8%.
They’re no slouch on the defensive side either, as they only give away 107.6 points per game — just a tiny mark behind the fourth-ranked Bucks. Cleveland is one of two teams in the NBA to rank in the top ten in both scoring and points allowed.
Cleveland is going to drop some major parts on this one. Kevin Love (thumb) will miss his second straight game. A vital bench piece for the Cavs, the non-starter put up only 10 points against the Blazers. Caris LeVert (ankle) will miss his third consecutive goal.
Milwaukee betting predictions
After a stellar 9-0 start, Milwaukee stumbled a bit, having lost five of their last eight games, including Wednesday night’s 118-113 loss to the Chicago Bills – only their second home defeat of the campaign.
There’s no panic for Mike Budenholzer’s group – winning a title will do that for you. It doesn’t hurt that Giannis Antetokounmpo is the driving force of the team.
Giannis, a current favorite in the 2023 NBA Most Valuable Player odds, had 36 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists against the Bulls, even though he committed eight turnovers.

– Milwaukee Bucks November 24, 2022
Junior Holiday added 14 points and 11 assists but also struggled to protect and turned the ball over seven times. As a team, the Bucks have shot 12-for-38 only from 3-point range (31.6%).
They are an under-10 team from distance, shooting at a 34% clip. This is part of the reason Milwaukee is in the middle of the pack in scoring at 111.5 points per game.
Cavaliers vs. Bucks expectation
This will be the second meeting between these teams, as Milwaukee takes first place at home 113-98 on November 16. Brook Lopez had 29 points and five boards, while digging 7-for-9 from downtown. Giannis had a break, shooting 6-for-18 for 16 points, with 12 boards and eight dimes.
Notable in that game: Milwaukee was +16 in three-point shooting, digging 16-for-39 (41%) in one of their best performances of the year.
Other than this performance, the Cleveland Head to Head has thrived, going 4-1 against the spread in the past five meetings. A caveat on this stat, though: They’re 2-7 ATS in their last nine in Milwaukee.
Despite the Bucks’ recent struggles, expect them to show up in a game that deserves their undivided attention.
